Humanities Teacher

A Humanities Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Humanities Teacher role will be full time and if appointed, you would need to be able to commit from the 22nd of April to Friday the 18th of July.

Teaching for this Humanities Teacher post will be for KS3 to KS5 History and KS3 RE.

If you're a Humanities Teacher with no experience of teaching A Level, the team can consider you for KS3 to KS4 History lessons only.

Experience of teaching the Edexcel syllabus for History would be advantageous for this Humanities Teacher position but is not essential in order to be considered.

The rates of pay for this Humanities Teacher role will be between £160 and £300 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form, for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

It is a heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities as well.

Providing a balanced and broad curriculum, the school focuses on subjects that contribute to the PE Baccalaureate.

The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average.

Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.

In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Humanities Teacher or experienced Humanities Teacher.
