Our thriving mainstream secondary school in Greenwich is seeking an Inclusion Lead to join our team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term position lasting until the end of the academic year, with a salary range dependent on your experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to support the inclusion of all students, ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to identify and address the diverse needs of students.
  • Coordinate and lead interventions for students with additional needs, including those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting respect and understanding among students and staff.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on inclusive practices and differentiation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies regarding inclusion and equality.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Proven track record in supporting students with diverse needs.
  • A current DBS check on the update service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
