Reed HR are currently looking for an Independent Grievance Resolution Consultant

Experience of managing conflict and /or be familiar with routes to resolution e.g. mediation

Dealing with complex sometimes multi-faceted investigations with high volume, multi-source information.

Ability to analyse and establish the facts on the basis discussions e.g. with complainants, subjects, witnesses and examining documentation.

Dealing sensitively with difficult often emotive issues, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality.

Shows confidence, assertiveness and an undaunted approach in interacting individuals at all levels.

Must be an effective communicator (both orally and in writing) and possess good interpersonal skills.

Must have good listening skills.

Must be able to maintain a non-judgmental approach to the issue(s) of concern and be able to demonstrate impartiality and objectivity.

Must be able to establish good relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Must possess high levels of ethics and integrity.

Desirable Criteria

Experience of counselling, mediation/arbitration also a basic understanding of mental health issues.
