Job Title: Biomedical Scientist Band 5/6 – ImmunologyLocation: South LondonDuration: 3-month rolling contract with review for extensionSchedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per weekStart Date: ASAPRate of Pay: £20 -25 per hour DOE (umbrella equivalent)Contact: Raihan– 0203 475 4858 / What You’ll Be Doing:As a Biomedical Scientist in Immunology and Virology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting immunology and virology lab tests, including PCR, ELISA, and serological assays
• Preparing and processing patient samples for analysis, ensuring high standards of accuracy
• Collaborating with senior staff to interpret results and provide expert guidance
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring all procedures meet regulatory standards
• Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control measures
• Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements & Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Extensive experience in Immunology and Virology, particularly with laboratory testing techniques such as PCR, ELISA, and viral culture
• Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, specimen preparation, and analysis
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A commitment to providing accurate, high-quality diagnostic services
• Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week, offering some flexibility if needed. The initial contract duration is 3 months, with the possibility of rolling extensions based on performance and service requirements.
