Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. This role requires proficiency in various engineering tools and software, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.

Duties

• Interpret and work from schematics, technical drawings, and specifications to perform repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
• Utilise SolidWorks, Simulink, MATLAB, and LabView for system design and analysis.
• Operate logic controllers and apply GD&T principles in mechanical design processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the workshop or field.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within an engineering environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Simulink, MATLAB, LabView, and other relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and logic controllers.
• Understanding of GD&T principles is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are preferred.

Pay: 19.86-20.00 per hour
