Responsibilities:

As a Media Resources Technician, your duties will include:

  • Managing and maintaining media equipment, software, and resources.
  • Supporting teachers and students in media-related lessons and projects.
  • Setting up and testing audio-visual equipment for classroom and school events.
  • Ensuring the safe use of media resources, including troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Keeping an up-to-date inventory of all media and IT equipment.
  • Assisting with the production of digital content, such as videos and presentations.
Requirements:

To excel as a Media Resources Technician, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of media equipment, editing software, and IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
