MEP Quantity Surveyor
Tier 1 Main Contractor (Life Sciences Division)

We are seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical bias to oversee the ductwork package on behalf of a leading UK construction company in their specialist life sciences division.

This position is available on a freelance basis outside IR35 and will consist of overseeing a leading ductwork contractor on a major commercial office and labs project in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mechanical (ductwork) elements on a high-profile hospital and commercial project.
  • Ensure accurate cost management, valuation, and forecasting for all assigned mechanical packages.
  • Collaborate effectively with the MEP Commercial Lead and project team to align project goals.
  • Provide detailed financial reporting and support for project cost control.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP projects, preferably with a focus on ductwork.
  • Proven expertise on large-scale, complex builds within the healthcare or life sciences sectors.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
