What You'll be Doing Each Day:

This position will support all replenishment planning activities globally within company’s global planning organisation. They will embody the company's values and contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration.Merchandising Planning Assistant - Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the Global Replenishment forecasts, and creating a culture of accountability for forecast accuracy
  • Maintaining the Global board line cards for Replenishment items and ensuring adherence to the Replenishment monthly critical path
  • Collaborating with regions to identify and maximize opportunities in Replenishment products
  • Determining long range forecasting to support some key vendor strategies
  • Drive allocation of SPI Categories
  • Responsible for assessing the Global Replenishment line cards and ensuring adherence to global Weeks of Cover targets for both store and hub
  • Alongside Planners, responsible for driving the Global Replenishment Buy process, actualising against regional plans
  • Alongside Planner, responsible for monthly evaluation of trading with Regional teams to assess in-season management decisions and potential inventory rebalances across regions
  • Assists in preparation of insightful commercial analyses to highlight missed opportunities and hindsight for future collection guidance / development particularly with respect for regional ranging
  • Alongside Planner, responsible for reviewing regional Replenishment sales forecasts and stock weeks of cover based on current trading and targets and overlay adjustments if necessary to future buys
  • Assist other Replenishment Planners on coordinating regular free stock drops to optimize replenishment inventory
  • Assisting in the Global Single Pool of Inventory, including forecasting future procurement and weekly Single Pool Stock allocations to regional contracts
  • Assisting in forecasting and planning Replenishment margin for Input into the Seasonal Plans
  • Allocate stock for SPI products to Regional Hubs to maintain key target stock levels and maximise sales opportunities

  • Previous experience in a planning or analytical role - ideally
  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
