Midday Meal Supervisor - SEN Unit - Lambeth

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Midday Meal Supervisor to join a school in Lambeth, supporting their SEN unit. This role involves working with primary-aged children with Autism during lunchtime hours, ensuring a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for all.

Midday Meal Supervisor - Role Details:

Position: Midday Meal Supervisor
Location: Lambeth, within a dedicated Primary SEN unit.
Timings: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Start Date: ASAP.

Midday Meal Supervisor - Key Responsibilities:

Supervise children during lunch and playtimes, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Provide support for pupils with Autism, assisting them with lunchtime routines and transitions.
Encourage positive interactions and support the development of social skills.
Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, nurturing atmosphere.

Midday Meal Supervisor - Candidate Requirements:

Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN or Autism, is desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
Commitment to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children in your care.
