We are seeking experienced ASD Assessors to join a dedicated team in a remote, freelance capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder, ensuring accurate diagnosis and detailed feedback. The position is fully remote, offering flexible working hours and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Gathering comprehensive background information to understand the individual's development and behaviour over time.
  • Using standardised diagnostic tools to assess individuals for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Delivering clear, informative feedback to individuals or their families following the assessment process.
  • Producing detailed reports following the assessments, ensuring accuracy and clarity in diagnosis.
  • Liaising with relevant professionals as needed to ensure a holistic approach to the assessment process.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in clinical, educational, or developmental psychology, or equivalent experience in ASD assessment.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting ASD assessments.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASD diagnostic tools and frameworks, such as the ADOS-2 or ADI-R.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver sensitive feedback effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy in assessment and reporting.

  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.

Payment Structure:

  • 2 x assessments per day: £320 - £420 per day (up to £210 per assessment) - Assessment including Development History: £260
