Tradewind Recruitment is working with a lovely secondary school in Merton , which is seeking a Reprographics Officer for an immediate start. This school requires someone with a Reprographics background and the focus of the role is to ensure that the media, reprographics and resources production is of the highest quality to support outstanding teaching and learning.
There will also be an element of working on the school website(training provided), to update press releases, publicity and communication materials. The main duties include(but are not limited to):Assist with the production of resources, inc. display and audio visualDesign and produce high quality materials that are readily available at short noticeDay to day maintenance of AV equipmentUsing digital packages such as Google Drive/Classroom etcPrepare AV devices for classroom use, such as cameras, digital equipmentUpdate the school websiteAssist with the media resources budget and look at ways of keeping consumables cost-effective The school is seeking someone with the following skills and aptitudes:
A Reprographics background, ideally in a secondary schoolExcellent IT and AV skills, including in a range of IT programmes and creative design packagesBe prepared to do training for the website, ready for updatesGreat Admin skills and ability to produce high quality materials, often at short notice.A flexible and friendly approach, great communication skills as well as a can-do attitude A background in AV or Reprographics (ideally in a school) would be perfect.
The hours for this role are 8am - 4.15pm, Monday to Friday.The salary available for this role is £14-16 per hour, depending on your experience.The role starts immediately and will be until Christmas initially and likely to continue after this trial period with the possibility of a permanent offer in the future.
