An Outstanding School based in hackney with excellent transport links are seeking an experienced School HR Assistant to start with immediate effect. This role is full time and on-going cover until further notice.

The school are seeking a detail-oriented, forward-thinking and pro-active HR Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and enhancing employee engagement. This position requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in HR software systems.

JOB DETAILS

  • School HR Assistant
  • Assisting with the management of HR function within the school
  • Ensuring all staff and pupil files are up to date
  • Managing cover arrangements for absent staff
  • Assisting with all HR processes
  • Conducting data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and meeting the schools compliance policies
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new staff, including preparation of documentation and orientation activities
  • Managing employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, providing clear and effective communication

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL HAVE

  • A strong Academic Background: Degree (desirable), A Levels & GCSEs (minimum grade C English and Maths)
  • Previous HR and admin School experience - ESSENTIAL
  • Familiarity with HR software systems and school systems
  • Keen to learn and take on responsibility
  • Excellent communication and ICT skills
  • Must have a positive approach and be pro-active
  • Be able to work at a fast pace
