Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Lecturer with a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading college for a Supported Internship Tutor to provide ongoing temporary cover at Newham Hospital, the host business for one of their award-winning Supported Internship programs.

The Role:

As a Supported Internship Tutor, you will play a key role in guiding interns through their learning journey, helping them develop vital communication, independence, employability, and life skills. Your expertise in personalised learning and dedication to empowering individuals will be instrumental in their success.

Key Responsibilities:

? Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners with additional needs.? Support interns in building confidence in communication, independence, teamwork, and employability.? Work closely with the host business to integrate on-the-job training and learning opportunities.? Provide one-to-one and group tutorial support, ensuring learners work towards their personal goals.? Monitor and track learner progress, providing detailed reports and constructive feedback.? Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to maintain effective communication.? Facilitate smooth transitions for interns into employment or further education.? Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and abilities.? Promote an inclusive learning environment that fosters independence and celebrates diversity.? Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring a safe and supportive setting for all learners.

What We're Looking For:

�? A qualified and experienced SEN Lecturer with a strong commitment to inclusive education.?? Proven experience working with young people and adults with learning disabilities or additional support needs.?? A deep understanding of personalised learning and student-centred approaches.??? Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with learners, parents/carers, and colleagues.??
