Are you an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher? Do you have a strong background in supporting children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly those who exhibit significant challenging behaviours?

A specialist school in Ealing is looking to recruit a dedicated SEND Teacher to lead a small, structured class of students with SLD and ASD. The role requires an individual with experience working in a SEND setting and a commitment to helping these children reach their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a structured class of children with SLD and ASD.
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students.
  • Use effective strategies to manage and reduce challenging behaviours.
  • Work closely with the school’s multidisciplinary team to support each child's development.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The Role:
  • Full-time position, 5 days a week, starting immediately.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. 
  • Proven experience in a SEND school, working with children with SLD and ASD.
