An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supporter Services Manager to join a leading health charity organisation. This is a full-time, interim role within the Fundraising directorate, responsible for leading the strategic direction and operational management of the Supporter Services team.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead and manage the Supporter Services team, with 3 direct reports, ensuring high performance and alignment with organisational goals
  • Oversee supporter enquiries, donation processing, and financial compliance
  • Develop training programmes to enhance team capabilities
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, Gift Aid, and other regulatory standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve supporter care and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate supporter engagement strategies
  • Ensure effective thanking communications and complaint resolution
  • Manage high-volume periods and oversee fulfilment house operations
  • Track performance against KPIs and manage financial reconciliation
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Experience in supporter services and income operations within a non-profit environment
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, financial reconciliation, and charity compliance
  • Proven ability to improve operational processes and engagement strategies
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to the organisation’s values and a passion for supporter engagement

Location: Hybrid working (3 days on-site)

Salary: £28 - £30 per hour  

Working hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Contract: 3-6 months
