We are looking for an experienced Site Assistant for a temporary position at a secondary school in Poplar due to a period of sickness.
The role involves opening and locking the facility for evening lettings, ensuring health and safety compliance, and performing janitorial and light DIY duties.
Candidates must demonstrate reliability and flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern of 6am - 3pm and 9am - 6pm on a fortnightly basis.
Previous experience working within a school is essential, along with a current Enhanced DBS certificate or registration on the DBS Update Service.

We are seeking an experienced Site Assistant to be based at this busy secondary school in Poplar on a temporary basis to cover a period of sickness.

Reporting to the Senior Site Assistant you will be required to assist with opening and locking up for evening lettings, ensuring good health & safety compliance is adhered to.

Providing janitorial duties and light DIY when required, you must demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times. The Site Assistant must be reliable and flexible to undertake a rotating shift pattern of 6am - 3pm and 9am - 6pm on a fortnightly basis.

It is essential this person has previous experience of working within a school, due to the urgency of this requirement, and you will currently possess an Enhanced DBS certificate, or you are registered on the DBS Update Service. If this is not the case, you will not be considered for this role.
