Are you a highly skilled administrator with great written and verbal communication? Do you have good organisation and time management skills? If so, Signature Recruitment is looking for a Part Time Course Administrator to join a therapeutic education institution in London. This is a part-time role, starting in early January for a one-year contract. It is offered on a flexible hybrid model, working three days a week with at least one in the office and the balance working from home. The salary is £27,000 to £30,000 FTE.

As a Part Time Course Administrator, you will work as part of a small team. Your role will be student-focused with responsibility for programme and course administration for postgraduate courses, including student records and assessment processes. You will also prepare and submit accurate student-related statutory returns, so knowledge of UK statutory reporting requirements (such as HESA and OfS) would be highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing data with a high level of accuracy.

Student Staturory Returns Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring student progression, creating and maintaining accurate student records including information for bi-annual Assessment Boards
  • Working under the Registrar planning and gathering student data, accurately entering data onto the system using Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) software, liaising with the HESA as required
  • Acting as the first point of contact for queries from all stakeholders. Including problem solving data queries and dealing with day-to-day management of data quality
  • Attending Assessment Board meetings and taking accurate minutes
  • Preparing student data reports for internal and external requirements. Downloading and archiving students’ work and assessment feedback and producing certificates and diploma supplements
  • Other ad-hoc general administrative support throughout the academic year from induction to graduation including annual leave cover when necessary

Student Staturory Returns Officer Key Skills:

  • Experience in Higher Education administration with an understanding of the student lifecycle and HESA reporting experience
  • Strong and confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organisational skills, able to plan, prioritise, and multitask whilst ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly proficient IT skills - MS Office and a good working knowledge of Excel with good data analysis and reporting skills
