The Role:
As a Teacher of Social Studies, you will:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
- Inspire students to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of social, cultural, and historical issues.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to create a supportive and challenging learning environment.
- Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral support.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have a proven track record of excellent classroom practice or demonstrate the potential to excel.
- Be passionate about social studies, with the ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and high expectations.
- Be flexible and adaptable, open to either a temporary or permanent contract.
