Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Cover Teacher to join our team for the summer term. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our Year 5 students, ensuring they continue to make excellent progress during this period.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
