Administrator - Part Time Salary: £20.00 per hour (£12,480)

Office based - after 3-month probation option to work from home.

An established logistics company are looking for a part time Administrator for their office based in Charlton. The role involves day to day administration for the business including scheduling meetings, processing paperwork, managing time sheets, and supporting with invoicing and payroll. Looking for an administrator with good analytical and attention to detail skills, strong IT skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure while working independently.

Duties Include:

  • Answering phone calls and maintaining an organised filing and record system for the office
  • Schedule meetings for the Director and update them with any changes to dates or times
  • Ensure all paperwork is processed, received and filed efficiently.
  • Record phone messages in a logbook and notify the relevant staff as needed
  • Assist with department paperwork, including compiling KPI figures and processing invoices
  • Prepare and collect payroll information on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy before processing
  • Maintain records of working hours, holidays, and short leave in line with the company's standard operating procedures
  • Verify timesheet entries for the department to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Process petrol receipts and handle hotel, travel bookings, and vehicle rentals, including obtaining competitive prices
  • Record and manage credit card receipts and assist with invoice preparation as required

Experience required:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Experienced in inputting payroll and invoices
  • Good IT skills including Word, Outlook & Excel
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work independently.
