We have an exciting opportunity for an HR/Payroll Admin to join a growing team and help deliver best-in-class HR services across the business!
What You'll Be Doing
As the HR/Payroll Admin, you'll be at the heart of our people operations, providing proactive and empathetic support through key administrative processes. This is a varied role that will see you involved in everything from recruitment and onboarding to managing payroll and supporting employee lifecycle processes. You'll be working closely with the People Director and the wider team to deliver exceptional service and support our people through every stage of their journey with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the team's group mailbox and respond to people-related queries.
- Oversee the administration of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, starters, leavers, payroll, and employee changes.
- Ensure accurate database and payroll maintenance.
- Coordinate recruitment processes with hiring managers and third-party providers.
- Handle employee benefits, probation management, maternity leave, and absence management.
- Support with offboarding, including exit interviews and system updates.
- Provide support to the People Director with diary management and ad-hoc projects.
What We're Looking For:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- An empathetic approach to working with people.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and a growing understanding of HR practices and employment law.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Organisational expertise with strong prioritisation skills and follow-through.
- Experience with HR systems (IFS) and payroll providers (ADP) is a plus!
- CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
