Job Title: Payroll and HR Specialist Location: TottenhamJob Type: Permanent – Fully OfficeSalary: £40,000 - £50,000  JGA are partnered with a leading business that are seeking a Payroll and HR Specialist to lead their payroll function.  This is a fully office-based role.    Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and pension contributions.
  • Ensure HMRC compliance for PAYE, NIC, and related payroll regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and address employee queries.
  • Update HR systems with employee data, contracts, salary changes, and benefits.
  • Assist recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, right-to-work checks, and company policies.
  • Coordinate and monitor employee benefits programs and support performance reviews.
Requirements:
  • Over 4 years’ experience running UK payroll operations.
  • Strong UK employment legislation.
  • CIPD/ CIPP qualification desirable.
