Our client is seeking an experienced International Payroll Officer to join their team

Duties include:

  • Processing monthly payroll for Swiss & Italian payrolls with outsourced provider
  • Provide help where necessary for internal and external audits
  • Validate and incorporate payroll specific input related to the payrolls
  • Respond to payroll queries from both internal employees / managers and external stakeholders and provide payroll data upon request
  • Process and submit the payroll postings to Finance via payroll system
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports to support third party payments
  • Responsible for completing the monthly payroll input templates countries payrolls
  • Liaising with the People Services teams to ensure all payroll related changes are captured accurately and processed in accordance with the monthly payroll deadlines, ensuring all necessary payroll documentation
  • Prepare all files for submission to payroll providers such as New Hires, Leavers and pay related changes
  • Collaborate with local Swiss & Italian Payroll Officer for support and any necessary payroll checks and validations prior to payroll approvals
  • Prepare the monthly payroll reports for Financial Accountants
  • Seek validation of payroll absences before calculation of annual leave entitlement
  • Management of leaver payroll related documents
  • Monthly administration of employee benefits and processing of company pension scheme

You will have;

  • Solid previous Swiss & Italian payroll administration experience
  • Ability to speak and read Italian would be a strong advantage
  • Experience of working with an outsourced service model
  • Thorough attention to detail and the ability to spot mistakes in data
  • Flexible approach and the professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Local country Benefit Administration experience
  • Very strong excel skills - vlookups and pivot tables
