Robert Half Finance & Accounting are exclusively partnering with a Real estate company in Central London to recruit a part time payroll specialist on a full time basis, 3 days a week.

Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a part time payroll specialist on a full time basis, 3 days a week.

  • Managing payroll for payrolling 150+ employees across the UK, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Austria and Australia
  • Administering new starter documentation and processing required leaver paperwork
  • Processing holiday, SSP, SMP, SPP payments and statutory deductions
  • Processing P45, P60, P11D
  • Submitting monthly PAYE and pension contributions on schedule
  • Calculating employee tax benefits - company car
  • Process joiners, leavers, and all amendments to payroll in a timely manner
  • Provide advice to employees and managers in relation to pay, taxation and national insurance
  • Ability to perform the manual calculation of payments when needed
  • Support with annual returns to HMRC including Year End processes and procedures
  • Dealing with payroll deductions such as pensions, unions, court orders,
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the time and attendance system and provided assistance, when required
  • Create, reconcile, and submit RTI files to HMRC
  • Reconciling payroll reports and monthly journals
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll runs for staff members
  • Experience processing payroll via timesheets

Profile:

  • Experience with ADP payroll processing systems
  • A minimum of 4 years of current UK payroll experience having worked on payrolls with a high degree of complexity (i.e. variable pay elements & deductions coming from different sources)
  • Ability to process payroll from start to finish
  • Experience working with a Time and Attendance system is advantageous but not essential.
