VWA is hiring an internal part-time payroll administrator to join our friendly and growing team, and provide maternity cover until the end of August 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work part-time in a collegiate environment whereby there is a lot of cross-team communication but in a mature environment where you're trusted to complete your job at hand.

Key Conditions:

  • For this role you will need to be able to work Mondays and Tuesdays, 9-5.30pm, and some/all Wednesdays if necessary for prorated pay.
  • The successful hire will be able to work remotely however occasional days worked in the London office is encouraged.

Payroll Administrator responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the weekly end-to-end processing of timesheets and payroll of all agency workers.
  • Weekly pension enrolment and submissions for affected agency workers.
  • Issuing weekly invoices promptly and to client specifications.

Required Experience:

  • Prior experience in administering a payroll system with either a Sage or CIPP qualification or in-house training in PAYE and Auto Enrolment.
  • Experience or familiarity with BrightPay, RDB, Sage or similar, HMRC online portal and NEST would be advantageous as would any basic accounting knowledge.

Additional Details:

  • Salary for this role is up to £35,000 as a full-time equivalent, dependent on experience and the role does come with other additional benefits.
  • Kindly note, ideally applicants should be available to start immediately or on notice of no more than 2 weeks however those on 1 month's notice will be considered.
