- Support the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and final payments for hourly employees.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing and help maintain controls over payroll data.
- Administer employee benefits, including pensions and private medical insurance, and ensure all new starters and leavers are processed correctly.
- Act as a point of contact for payroll and benefits queries, providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance and accuracy through regular audits.
- Administer employee lifecycle processes, including new starters, leavers, and changes of personal details.
- Regularly update and maintain the HR and payroll system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data.
- Manage user security, system updates, and payroll-related data, escalating any issues when necessary.
- Provide timely responses to business needs and ensure data is readily available for decision-making.
- Proven experience in a busy HR or payroll support role, ideally in a multi-site or corporate environment.
- Solid experience processing HR/payroll system updates, with a good understanding of the importance of data governance and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and experience managing employee benefits administration.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage deadlines, and handle a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with experience in creating reports and analysing data.
