This Payroll & Pensions administrator position will support the company and finance team with day to day payroll data inputting and management through their payroll system and excel.

The client we are partnering with are an SME Property Management Company looking to bring their payroll function internal as they continue to grow their headcounts.

Description

The Payroll & Pensions Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Preparing payroll such as: wage calculation, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, national insurance contributions, and other statutory deductions.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other necessary documentation.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee pension schemes, including enrolment, contributions, and processing.
  • Ensure accurate calculations of pension contributions, in line with regulatory and organisational policies.
  • Liaise with pension providers to resolve queries and ensure timely processing of employee benefits.
  • Advise employees on pension-related matters and provide guidance on scheme options.
  • Maintain accurate records for both payroll and pensions.
  • Assist with audits and internal checks to ensure compliance with relevant employment and tax laws.
  • Prepare and submit government and pension regulatory filings, such as tax filings and pension reports.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and pension-related inquiries.
  • Provide assistance with understanding pay slips, pension benefits, and deductions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll and pension legislation and best practices.
  • Suggest improvements to payroll and pension processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

The successful Payroll & Pensions Administrator will have:

  • 3+ years Payroll & Pensions experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Payroll & pensions system experience
  • Strong excel experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience improving system / processes
