My client who are a Global Data solutions firm are looking to hire a Payroll/ HR Administrator to work alongside their Payroll Manager. They are seeking a very strong administrator, who is analytical in thinking, highly numerate and has good MS Office skills, in particular Excel and strong ADP experience. You will be a self-starter, who is committed and has a high focus on accuracy and is able to work to deadlines.  You will be required to assist the Payroll Manager with the maintenance of the monthly payroll, collating, calculating, and submitting monthly payroll for 700+ employees.  Payroll / HR Administrator duties:
  • Process payroll from start to finish ensuring accuracy throughout the payroll cycle
  • Process statutory payments and deductions as well as considering and updating information to incorporate company enhanced schemes
  • Processing new starters and leavers accordingly
  • Processing of sick and parental pay
  • Payment of any overtime, TOIL payments, bonus
  • Variations, change to work patterns
  • Assist with payroll reports checking
  • Assisting with setting up BACS payments for salaries, pension payments, and HMRC liabilities
  • Maintain secure HR records and files as they relate to transaction/payroll processing
  • Responding to staff payroll queries in a timely manner and promptly investigate and resolve employee payroll issues
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests from management and HR
  • Preparation of the payroll and related activities, ensuring accuracy of payroll calculations
  • Update and maintain HR and Payroll system (ADP)
  • Assisting with the administration of company benefits and the management of renewals where needed
  • Process relevant data in support of policy/schemes such as sick, maternity, paternity, salary sacrifice schemes
  • Provide 1st line support to managers with applying policy to sick leave, paternity and maternity
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of monthly pension contributions to pension provider
  • Support for internal and external audits
  • Knowledge of processing P11D’s would be an advantage
Ideal Person 
  • Payroll administration experience
  • Strong excel and ADP experience
  • Strong attention to detail.
