Payroll Processor

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Processor to join our Temp Payroll team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payments to our temporary employees on a weekly basis. This role is integral to our operations, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Run all weekly payrolls in a structured and organised manner, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Check and reconcile daily payroll runs and produce associated spreadsheets.
  • Update and maintain Payroll Schedules and the Payroll Procedures Manual.
  • Handle queries and escalations from both within and outside the company, responding within agreed SLA timeframes.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Maintain the highest level of payroll security and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
  • Complete any additional tasks and responsibilities relevant to the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in payroll processing, preferably temporary payroll.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with internal and external queries.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A team player with the ability to also work independently.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Experience of working in administration in a process driven environment.
