Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to support our Payroll & Operations Manager and UK Payroll Lead in the efficient processing of our contractor payroll. In this role, you will ensure that contractors are onboarded and paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

This is a 3-6 month temporary position with a view to becoming permanent.

9am - 6pm - Monday to Friday.

Annual leave starting at 25 days plus bank holidays. Rising to 28 plus bank holidays after 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process new starters and leavers.
  • Make necessary changes for current workers.
  • Enter timesheets, invoices, and expenses into our internal systems.
  • Review payroll data prior to payment, including P45s, P46 forms, and salary deductions.
  • Produce payroll reports and address pension queries and filings.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries, including timesheet, payment, and holiday entitlement questions.
  • Provide cover during periods of absence.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll, with a focus on contractor payroll.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Formal qualification in payroll (CIPP) is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
