Our client, a successful group with diverse business interests including retail outlets, are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to work as part of a team with responsibility for end-to-end payroll for upwards of 1,000 employees on a fortnightly and monthly basis.

The role will involve ensuring employees across the Group are paid accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory requirements in relation to employee pay and benefits. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for running payrolls and potentially overseeing the workflow of team members.

Responsibilities will include payroll, pension contributions, new starters (using Star Payroll), tracking holiday pay, maternity and statutory sick pay, ensuring right to work compliance is in place and monitoring the payroll mailbox. Knowledge of time and attendance software would be useful.

Experience in all of the above is essential as well as :-

  • 1-3 years in similar capacity.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advance Excel skills. Able to use functions such as Vlookupsetc.
  • Knowledge of Star Payroll would be advantageous

Office based role with hours Monday - Friday
