JGA are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation looking to add a Payroll Advisor to its team!This role has a hybrid working model - 3 days in the office a week.Responsibilities include:
  • Working with the team to ensure all team members are paid accurately and on time
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Provide support to cross functional teams as requested
  • Ensure integrity and security of all payroll data
  • Contribute to achieving the overall goals of the department
  • Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard the integrity of the company
  • Assist with Year End processing for multiple companies
  • Support other departments with any ad-hoc requests
  Skills & experience required:
  • Payroll experience
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Experience working in a fast paced working environment
  • The ability to think outside of the box to solve problems
  • Continuous improvement and curious mindset
  • Knowledge of payroll and pension legislation and compliance
  • Adherence to payroll and statutory deadlines
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to organise and prioritise whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Strong diligent analytical skills to breakdown problems
  • Experience of Zellis HCM/ResourceLink payroll system
