Our client, based within the Telecoms industry, is looking for a Payroll Analyst. In your role, you will be processing and collating payroll data, and assisting with end of month payroll reconciliations.

Your main responsibilities will be producing payroll reports, processing and liaising with accounts payable regarding payment.

You will be responsible for collating data from several sources, analysing the information, and producing bespoke payroll reports for departmental and payroll needs.

Salary: £35,000-38,000WorkPattern: Full time 9-5:30, Monday to FridayStartdate: ASAPLocation: Hybrid. Central London Office for 2 days per week in office

Key Accountabilities

  • Processing and Collating Payroll data
  • Data Reporting: Gather, collate, and analyse large datasets to produce essential payroll-related reports, including overtime, departmental staffing costs, timesheets, and budget projections. Reports will be sent to suppliers, departments, and partner companies.
  • Compliance & Benefits: Support with HMRC reporting, pensions, and other benefits management, ensuring all obligations are met.
  • Reconciliation: Assist with reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Payroll Support: Serve as the go-to person for payroll queries. You’ll handle employee questions on payslips, timings, and other payroll matters.
  • Assisting with End of the month payroll reconciliation
  • Monthly Pension analysis
  • Managing Healthcare provider portal and membership list
  • Processing invoices and liaising with accounts payable regarding payment
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
  • Coordinate payroll approvals and funding instructions
  • Reply to government correspondences, and verification of employment for international entities

Essential Requirements:-

  • Excel Expertise: Advanced skills in Excel are a must. You need to be comfortable with V-LOOKUPs, What-Ifs, and other advanced formulas.
  • Independent Worker: You’ll need to be able to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, and take ownership of your tasks.
  • Deadline-Driven: With strict deadlines, you must do well under pressure, managing time effectively to meet all critical cutoffs.
