Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (37.5 Hours)

Hybrid: 2 Days in the office, 3 Days from home

Salary: 35,000 - 38,000 per annum

We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant who will handle payroll processing, month-end reconciliations and collaborate closely with the accounts payable team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team while enhancing your payroll expertise in a vibrant corporate setting.

What You'll Do:

- Process and collate payroll data with precision and efficiency

- Support month-end payroll reconciliations, ensuring accurate financials

- Conduct monthly pension analysis and manage healthcare memberships

- Prepare clear, accurate payroll reports and deliver them on time

- Resolve employee queries and assist with payroll discrepancies

- Coordinate payroll approvals and oversee funding instructions

- Work with accounts payable to process invoices and payments smoothly

- Respond to government inquiries and assist with international employment verifications

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience within a similar role is essential.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management

- Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables)

- 5+ GCSEs or equivalent education

- Solid understanding of payroll compliance and legislation

- Previous experience with external payroll providers
