Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll processing for permanent and casual employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with public sector regulations.
  • Support on the administration of pensions, including auto-enrolment, scheme changes, and liaising with pension providers
  • Process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP, and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, year-end reporting, and P11D submissions
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and pension providers in a timely manner.

Previous Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in payroll and pensions administration
  • Knowledge of statutory payments and pension schemes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a high level of service.
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and support colleagues.
