Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Payroll Co-ordinator for a growing Entertainment agency in Central London paying £35k pro-rata for a 6 month fixed term contract. The role offers hybrid working - 3 days p/w.

Role Responsibilities include:

Responsible for processing monthly payroll for UK Head office and Freelance staff.

? Manage US weekly payroll data input and validation.

? Collect and input all required new starter documentation such as P45, HMRC New Starter Checklist, bank details etc.

? Liaising with the 3rd party payroll provider to ensure all information is submitted and accurate for payroll, dealing with and resolving any questions from the payroll provider

? Ensure all fixed and variable payroll elements are accurate each month and fully checked before processing payroll

? Liaise with relevant departments on any monthly deductions required for payroll (i.e. Credit Card expenses, Salary sacrifice etc.)

? Freelance Payroll - Send out payroll sheets to production, track progress, review sheets and ensure all contracted employees are included

? Action all necessary work in relation to Salary/Rates, Pensions, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, Holiday pay, general absence etc.

? Perform checks on payroll reports.

? Monitor the Payroll email inbox, ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner.

? Complete end-of-month payroll reconciliation, action journals & post.

? Email P45 at the end of each month once released

? Liaise with HMRC and other appropriate third parties, as appropriate

? Track employee benefits and complete P11Ds for partners/CEO

? Provide payroll data for audits

? Calculate and track cycle scheme deductions

? Track SMP/SPP/SSP payments

? Send pension reports and new employee information to our pension managers

? Manage the pension process for our employees on salary sacrifice and net pay pension schemes, addressing pension queries

? Manage the monthly Schedule D pension calculations, liaising with Finance to ensure pension contributions are deducted accurately and timely

? Manage BUPA Healthcare Benefit queries and payrolling

? Cycle to work, Season ticket loan, Nursery Salary sacrifice

? Complete Office National Statistics surveys as require

Candidates must:

  • Have a minimum of 1yrs experience in a similar, comprehensive payroll position.
  • Be available immediately or on short notice
  • Ideally have experience in the Media/Entertainment sector
