Payroll Coordinator

Location: Hybrid West London

Contract Type: Temp - Perm

Hourly rate: £16.00 per hour

Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm (Monday-Friday)

As the Payroll Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the payroll function across multiple countries, including the UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, and maintaining accurate payroll records. Your excellent diligence and ability to work under pressure will be essential in meeting tight deadlines.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Northern Europe HR Business Partners to ensure accurate and timely payroll payments. You will work with store and department managers to collect and verify employee hours, capture payroll-related information accurately, and coordinate with external payroll providers and internal departments such as HR and Finance. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with local labour laws and tax regulations in each country and support internal and external payroll audits.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a payroll-related role, preferably in a multi-country setup

Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations in Northern Europe

Proficiency in Excel and data management

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication skills

Fluency in English, with additional language proficiency in French being an advantage.
