As a Payroll Officer, your main role will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all staff members. You will also be responsible for maintaining payroll systems and responding to payroll queries.

Description

  • Manage and process monthly payroll for all employees
  • Manage all types of enquiries
  • Shift pattern payments
  • Process payroll
  • Maintain payroll systems and records accurately
  • Respond to payroll enquiries from staff and management
  • Prepare and distribute P60s and payslips
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and guidelines
  • Manage pension contributions and deductions
  • Prepare payroll reports for management
  • Support the finance team with other tasks as required

Profile

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • A strong understanding and practical knowledge of payroll processes
  • Experience working with ResourceLink payroll system
  • Health Roster system experience
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of HMRC regulations
  • Experience in the Not For Profit sector is beneficial
  • A relevant qualification in payroll or accounting is desirable
