A thriving international Recruitment Company. Also a proud employee-owned business that enables satff to have a voice on how they operate. They are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to manage the end-to-end payroll function across the UK operations and overseeing outsourced payroll in the Netherlands and Dubai.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage UK Payroll: Run the payroll function for the UK, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.
  • Oversee Outsourced Payroll: Supervise outsourced payroll processes in the Netherlands and Dubai, ensuring compliance with local regulations and timely reporting.
  • System Expertise (Sage 50): Utilise your experience with Sage 50 to manage the payroll process and ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Payroll Migration to BobHR: Assist in and drive the payroll migration from Sage 50 to BobHR, ensuring a smooth transition and accurate data migration.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and create full process notes for payroll activities, ensuring all steps are documented for future reference.
  • Improve Payroll Processes: Analyse and enhance current payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Help implement strong payroll controls across all entities.
  • Book Payroll Journals: Post accurate payroll journals into NetSuite, ensuring proper integration with the finance function.

Profile

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Payroll Experience: Strong background in managing payroll processes, with experience across multiple geographies being beneficial (particularly UK, Netherlands, and Dubai).
  • Strong Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse data, use formulas, pivot tables, and create financial models to support payroll processes.
  • Sage 50 Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Sage 50 payroll systems is essential.
  • Process Improvement: Strong ability to analyse, document, and improve payroll processes, with experience implementing payroll controls.
  • NetSuite Knowledge: Experience posting payroll journals into NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and answer payroll-related queries efficiently, especially around complex areas like commissions.
  • Compliance Focused: Up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations in the UK, and ideally some familiarity with payroll regulations in other countries
