We are seeking a Oracle Fusion Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. This role is crucial for someone who has extensive experience in managing and operating payroll within a large organisation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and supporting the development of payroll solutions that enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and user experience of our processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Help shape and support the development of Oracle Fusion ERP payroll solutions that improve the effectiveness, efficiency and user experience of the to-be process design.
  • Provide insight and oversight of Business as Usual (BAU) changes, ensuring alignment with the programme’s direction and initiatives.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the impacts of potential designs are fully known and understood across the wider organisation.
  • Ensure that the payroll design is fit for purpose and aligned with the strategic direction of the programme, covering the required breadth and depth of the solution.
  • Support the definition and development of reporting solutions that best meet the needs of the function and the customers.
  • Create and maintain successful relationships across various groups, including the Programme, HR, and other key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of running and operating payroll within a large organisation, specifically with Oracle Fusion / Oracle HCM / Oracle Payroll.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and align a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights and oversee changes within the payroll function.
  • Experience in designing and implementing effective payroll solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
