Payroll Specialist

Established London law firm are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Finance team in a newly created role on a permanent basis.

  • Up to £50,000
  • Hybrid working (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

This role will focus on 3 main areas – Payroll Processing & Compliance, Payroll Administration & Employee Support and Process Improvement & Optimisation.

Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Manage and maintain the ADP payroll portal, liaising with ADP for monthly payroll execution
  • Process all employee benefit changes, starters, leavers, salary exchanges and pension enrolment
  • Assist with the annual PAYE Settlement Agreement process
  • Process and coordinate third-party payments (HMRC, pension providers, childcare vouchers, and court orders)
  • Assist in the salary review process by providing payroll insights and calculations

Payroll Specialist Key Skills & Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within a law firm
  • Knowledge of ADP’s iHCM is desirable
  • Confident with UK payroll regulations and legislation
  • Preferably holding a formal qualification, part or fully CIPP qualified
