Our client, one of the world largest independent financial services firms are looking for an established Payroll Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collate the monthly payroll data and provide to the payroll vendor - via a secure online portal
- Review and reconcile the output, work with the payroll vendor to correct as necessary and provide the appropriate reports for review and sign off by the Payroll Manager
- Ensure that all of the relevant deadlines are met and that the payments are reconciled and made on time.
- Work with the wider Payroll team and other internal / external stakeholders to streamline processes.

Requirements:
- 5 years UK payroll experience
- Must have previously worked within a fast paced team environment.
- Must have a good working knowledge of statutory payroll legislation / payroll calculations in the UK.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables)
- Track record of developing positive relationships with outsourced payroll vendors
- Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
