Our client is seeking a Payroll Team Leader for a permanent position with a salary of £48,414.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management and team supervision.
Key responsibilities include quality control of payroll processing, training and mentoring a team of 4 payrollers, and resolving payroll queries.
The ideal candidate should possess good knowledge of current legislation and have strong communication skills.
The company currently operates with a hybrid model, requiring one day a month in the office, and they are interviewing immediately.

Our client are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis. They are currently working 1 day a month in the office.

Responsibilities/experience will include:

Quality control of payroll input and payroll processing.
Direct responsibility for the accurate processing of multiple payrolls, meeting specified deadlines.
Training, mentoring and leadership of 4 payrollers.
Setting objectives and conducting appraisals for the team.
Resolving queries and advising on legislative and technical payroll matters.
Ability to carry out the Payroll Team Leader role with minimum supervision.
Experience managing high volume payrolls with multiple pay days
Experience managing/supervising a team
Good knowledge of current legislation
Good communication skills
Experience with the iTrent system would be advantageous but not essential
