- Managing your own payroll section, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
- Acting as the primary escalation contact in the Payroll Team Leader’s absence.
- Handling payroll data for new starters, leavers, salary adjustments, allowances, sickness absence, and other payroll-related changes.
- Responding promptly to payroll queries from clients, employees, and external parties.
- Organising and prioritising workload to meet strict payroll deadlines.
- Processing payroll amendments, including correcting errors and arranging additional payments.
- Reviewing and verifying payroll data for accuracy, ensuring a clear audit trail.
- Meeting or exceeding service delivery targets.
- Complying with data protection regulations, maintaining client confidentiality, and following internal policies.
- Supporting the Payroll Team Leader and assisting with other tasks as required.
