JOB TITLE: SeniorPayroll AdministratorSALARY: £35,000HOURS: Full Time - PermanentWORKING STRUCTURE: Hybrid - 2 days per monthLOCATION:  London JGA are partnered with a business service provider with big opportunities for career development. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Payroll Team Leader, managing escalations and urgent issues.
  • Manage payroll data received from the client's HR department and line managers, covering: Starters, leavers, and pay reviews, Pay adjustments, sickness, and changes in working hours.
  • Take ownership of your workload, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed within set timelines.
  • Meet tight deadlines regarding cut off dates.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies arising from queries, such as correcting overpayments and processing necessary adjustments.
  • Check data for self and colleagues’ work, providing an audit trail of events.
  • Consistently meet or exceed service delivery targets and strive to improve performance where possible.
Requirements:
  • Must have Client or Bureau Payroll experience
  • Must have knowledge of IRIS (Star Professional) and/ or Zellis (Northgate software)
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload
  • Accurate and methodical approach
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Self-dependent
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong numeracy skills
