Responsibilities
As a Senior Payroll Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties:
- Process monthly payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Enter and verify payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions.
- Process SSPs, SMPS, PAYE, NP and BIA
- Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to the Finance department.
- Assist with the year-end payroll process
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and efficiencies.
Experience:
- Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a property or similar environment. (5+ years)
- Experience with Cloud based payroll software
