We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our Accounting & Finance Department in London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and finance within the property industry.

Description

  • Manage payroll functions and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee payroll-related tax compliance activities.
  • Work closely with HR to align payroll and HR procedures.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on payroll matters.
  • Communicate with employees about their pay and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislations.
  • Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing.
  • Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed.

Profile

Qualifications/Education Required.

  • CIPP Qualified (essential)
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.

Systems & IT competence

  • Excellent Excel and Word skills (essential)
  • SSP, SMP, SPP & SPL (essential)
  • SAP / Working Life experience (desirable)

Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required

  • 10 years payroll experience in a specialist role.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
