Global Accounting Network are partnered with a dynamic PR company seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented EMEA Payroll Manager to join the finance team.

This role oversees payroll operations across multiple regions, including the UK, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, and the Middle East. Reporting to the FD, the Payroll Manager will collaborate closely with regional teams. This role is London based, and offers hybrid working - 3 days per week office based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the consolidation project to manage UK payroll through a single external agency.
  • Process payroll for multiple countries using an external payroll agency or in-house systems.
  • Partner with Talent teams to manage monthly payroll changes.
  • Reconcile monthly payroll for approval.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors.
  • Post payroll journals to the finance system after monthly payroll completion.
  • Support employee tax, pension, and payroll setup for new jurisdictions in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Act as the main contact for payroll-related employee queries.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Payroll qualification or substantial experience in payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, pensions, and accounting principles.
  • Expertise in PAYE/NIC, statutory payments (SMP, SSP, redundancy).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
