DB Pensions Consultant


Join a leading consultancy firm based in London, but working remotely. Renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional pension solutions and advisory services. This company prides itself on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, where your expertise will be valued and your career can flourish. We are dedicated to providing our clients with tailored strategies that meet their unique needs, and we are looking for a skilled DB Pensions Consultant to join our dynamic team, or an experienced DB Pensions Administrator, looking to further their career.

This role is working remotely, with regular trips to London at the employee's expense. Only candidates who can reliably commute to London as and when needed should apply.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on defined benefit pension schemes to clients.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and assessments of pension scheme liabilities.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients.
  • Assist clients in navigating regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of pension scheme changes and strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes affecting pensions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive pension solutions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as FIA, FFA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in DB pensions consulting or actuarial roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in pension software and analytical tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
