About the Role:
Are you an experienced Ergonomist with a strong safety-critical background? Do you have a proven track record in leading human factors work on complex, high-stakes projects? We are seeking a Lead Ergonomist / Human Factors Lead to oversee the Ergonomics and Human Factors Assurance of major contracts on the largest infrastructure project of a generation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional with expertise in safety-critical industrieswho thrives on tackling complex challenges and delivering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Ergonomics and Human Factors Assurance process for high-profile contracts.
  • Provide strategic guidance to ensure compliance with safety-critical requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with contractors and consultants.
  • Act as the client-side human factors expert, ensuring seamless integration of ergonomics in project design and delivery.
  • Drive innovation and excellence in safety-critical design and assurance.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Chartered status or the knowledge and experience to operate at this level.
  • A strong safety-critical background in industries ie. Nuclear, Aviation, or Medical.
  • Proven experience in client-side Human Factors roles, with a solid understanding of working with contractors and consultants.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
  • A passion for delivering human-centric design and assurance at the highest level.
